Today, we’re delighted to feature Prithi Palani, founder of Naps & Sleep, a Holistic Pregnancy & Child Sleep Consultant based in Bangalore, India, who supports families both throughout India and internationally with a gentle, family-centered approach to children’s sleep.
Helping Families Find Gentle, Holistic Sleep Solutions
Prithi works with newborns, infants, and toddlers up to three years of age, helping parents better understand their child’s sleep while honoring each family’s unique needs, values, and parenting style.
Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all solutions, her philosophy centers on understanding the many interconnected factors that influence children’s sleep, recognizing that every child and every family is different.
Her goal is to help families create sustainable, developmentally appropriate sleep habits through education, partnership, and individualized support.
A Holistic Perspective
Prithi completed IPHI’s Holistic Pregnancy & Child Sleep Consultant Certification, where she expanded her knowledge through a multidisciplinary approach that considers child development, family dynamics, nutrition, lifestyle, emotional well-being, environment, and the many interconnected factors that can influence sleep.
To further deepen her understanding of human behavior and family well-being, Prithi is also currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology, continuing her commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-informed practice.
This combination of sleep education and psychology reflects her dedication to supporting families through both scientific understanding and compassionate care.
Supporting Families in India and Around the World
Although based in Bangalore, Prithi works remotely with families throughout India and internationally, providing individualized guidance that respects each family’s culture, goals, and unique circumstances.
Her work reflects one of the core values we emphasize throughout IPHI’s educational philosophy:
There is no single solution that works for every family.
Instead, lasting change begins by understanding the whole child, the whole family, and the many factors that influence healthy sleep.
Growing Awareness Through Education and Media
Beyond working directly with families, Prithi is helping raise awareness about healthy infant and toddler sleep throughout India and internationally.
Her expertise has been featured in The Times of India, where she contributed to the growing conversation around infant sleep coaching and the evolving needs of modern families. She has also been featured in Happiest Health, one of India’s leading health and wellness publications, highlighting the increasing recognition of gentle, family-centered approaches to children’s sleep. Additionally, she was invited to contribute an opinion article for The Moms Co., where she shared practical insights on breaking the cycle of night wakings without stress.
Through media interviews, educational writing, and parent resources, Prithi continues to help families better understand children’s sleep while making evidence-informed, compassionate sleep education more accessible to parents.
