Why Include It:
Time and Effort: Researching, preparing custom materials, and documenting client progress requires time and effort. This time is part of the service you provide and should be compensated.
Value Creation: The work you do behind the scenes directly contributes to the quality of the coaching session. It adds personalized value that enhances the client experience and results.
Professionalism and Expertise: Custom research and personalized client notes demonstrate your expertise and commitment. This level of care often differentiates higher-quality coaching services.
How to Factor It In:
Incorporate It in Your Hourly Rate: Estimate the time spent on preparation, research, and documentation for each client. Add this time to the total hours spent coaching and adjust your rate accordingly.
Include It in Package Pricing: If you offer coaching packages, consider the time for preparation and follow-up as part of the service. Instead of itemizing it, build this into the total package cost.
