My favourite part is learning from Mar directly, as she has such a powerful presence whenever she speaks, and I find myself inspired by how she uses her tonation, body language and the way she communicates knowledge in a very relatable way.

I came away with some great information. I enjoyed participating my elevator pitch, working on my body language, and practicing improving the way I speak. Those things will all be very useful as I work on gaining more speaking opportunities.

Sometimes being a small-business owner can be lonely and overwhelming, so I really enjoyed the shared learning experience and having the group sharing feedback with each other. It’s also inspiring to see people in various stages of their careers, all gaining new knowledge and learning how to apply it to their respective enterprises. I felt fortunate to be involved in this group effort!
